    The debate is very important, in fact from the India’s point of view it is very essential to find the answers for certain questions-

    1) Whether the Grid Failure was a Cyber Attack?
    2) If yes, then how it was committed and who did this?
    3) Is India is not prepared for such cyber attacks?

  2. Dear Astitwa,

    i am trying to answer your queries;
    Start with your first question, yes the grid failure was cyber attack and the most suited term for this is SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition).
    You have seen the movie Die-Hard, in which a group of people had taken the control of electricity,traffic, communication etc………..
    This was a similar attack to that happened in movie.
    and for your last query the India is prepared for this type of attack as number of professional has been working in this field. So the only need is of advancement and more powerful security techniques.
